The Winnie Mae

The next model will be another scale type.
I had done a search some time ago, and was sure this had been modeled-- or as a Lockheed Vega with a more general CS. But as far as I can tell it has not, so........

Thanks Doug. That may have been the plane I came across several months ago.

OK, it looks like there is takeoff clearance to work on the Winnie Mae.

A little WM progress..

Simple renders for now.

Yes, I expect it to be-- visually. Have never modeled one of those before, so more to learn. Learned more today about the impressive high power motors such as those made by Hacker and Neu Motors, so that lead to trying out/learning on an E power conversion of technoid's Big Red. It clearly showed how practical the high power electrics are. For the WM, there will be a future question of what scale to make it, as this time I am not building from a known real world model or kit.

A little more progress last night:
Fin/Rudder
Wheel Pants

WP are a little different, as per the plans being followed, there is a slight indentation on the bottom for the wheel channel.
On other WP, it has just been flat.

Got some keyboard/mouse time on the WM tonight. Added the airfoiled main gear. No tail wheel (or skid) yet. Should have in RF before too long. If I can get the steerable skid to work (tried it on a plane once and never could get it to steer..), then I'll go with a skid.

looking really good FE , on the tail skid i know some work and others seem to act weird , it must be with the build part of it as i have tried in the editor to fix that issue on a couple of the older models .

It was being modeled but was scrubbed.
