Tutor 600 helicopter Error

Over the last few days, when I load the Tutor 600 helicopter I get an error:
‘The aircraft variant “Dazzler 46AX Smooth 3D“ cannot be loaded. It is based on an aircraft you don't have. ‘
Then the helicopter loads normally. I thought the Tutor 600 was a built in model so not sure what’s going on. Any ideas?

the dazzler is an add-ons aircraft. since the add-ons are not compatible with evolution so there is not way to add that plane to evolution. if you are in an older version of rf confirm that the add-ons have been added to you version of rf.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have any RealFlight addons so I guess that's why the error message is coming up. I have discovered that the error is not related to the Tutor 600 and comes up when I select other aircraft; seemingly randomly. I'm guessing it relates to one of the models I've downloaded from the swap pages, but I have no idea which one. I did a search of the swap pages for "Dazzler" and don't have any of the models found. I haven't downloaded any models that even look like a Dazzler either. I'm running RealFlight version 9.5s. Any ideas how I can find out which model is causing the issue?

Go into your RealFlight 9\Vehicles\Custom Vehicles directory and look for a file called Dazzler 46AX Smooth 3D it should have a ".rfvehicle" extension. You should be able to delete that file to get rid of it. An AV doesn't have an entry in the Custom Vehicles directory like EAs do.
 
Thanks found the file and deleted it, seems I was looking in the wrong directory, I found some custom aircraft in the CustomModels directory first and didn’t look any further, so never got to look in the CustomVehicles directory.
The error message has gone now.

I had a look in RealFlight.ini and interestingly there's still entries in there in the [BreakaPartCost],[Filters] and [AircraftColorScheme] sections for the Dazzler and aircraft I’ve deleted.

I'm glad that fixed it for you. The way it works is the YourPlane.rfvechile in the Custom Vehicles directory is the "physics" for the plane and an AV "only" has a physics file because an AV is only a modification to a plane's physics. An AV uses the original planes 3D and ColorScheme that is located in the Custom Models directory.

And yeah the realflight.ini file will have entries for all the planes you fly so deleting an AVs physics file, the YourPlane.rfvechile, won't clean out the entries in the realflight.ini file. I have went through the realflight.ini file in a text editor and manually deleted all the entries for a plane I deleted the way I told you, but you must be very careful when you delete those entries to only delete the lines with the planes name your removing. So I'd make a backup of the realflight.ini file before deleting a plane manually to have something to fall back on if you mess up.
