Used g3.5 to 5.5 upgrade?

Hello, I've been considering buying a used 5.5 upgrade from the internet and I was wondering if it would work? Do I have to register to do so by the disc?
I haven't registered, and it would be a HASSLE to do so. Unforeseen circumstances.
Would it work? Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have G3.5 with the included Interlink, the used 5.5 upgrade will work for you. You'll need the serial from your Interlink, along with the serial from the G5.5 software. Tech support can rest the original G5.5 registration, with some kind of proof that you bought it.

Keep in mind that the RF6 upgrade price is around $50. Don't pay too much for the G5.5!

But.... I take it that G6 upgrade works with 3.5? It would be a better deal, with new features. It says G4 and above... concerning.

Just a side note: why is the 5.5 upgrade so expensive everywhere?

And I think I may not be able to get my copy of G3.5 unregistered.

You won't need to get your G3.5 unregistered. You'll need to get the G5.5 unregistered, if its been used. Surely you'll have some kind of transaction record that you bought it.

And yes, the G3 Interlink will work with G5 or RF6.
