Users Manual realflight evolution

Here's a link to the 9.5 manual. It did not change for Evolution.

The only difference that's worth mentioning between the two versions is that Evolution introduced the "ESC menu", the menu system that appears by pressing the ESC key on the keyboard or the CANCEL button on the Interlink DX. The ESC menu can be manipulated using the buttons and roller on the Interlink DX, so you don't have to reach for a mouse if you have the Interlink DX. The manual shows the Windows-style menu bar across the top of the screen, which Evolution calls the "legacy menu". Here's a post explaining how to turn on the legacy menu, which will make everything work according to this manual.

If you have already bought it, it is installed (with a few other guides) at: X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RealFlight Evolution\Documentation (X: being wherever your SteamLibrary is actually stored on your computer)

I looked in that location on my computer before I posted - I had the same thought you did - and it's no longer there! There are some specific help guides, but no complete manual.

Interesting. I know I used to have that, but not any more.

That Help Guide on my system is for Evo and Trainer Edition, but it's pretty high-level and talks a lot about setting up different controllers. It covers the Interlink DX pretty extensively. It also has keyboard shortcuts, and a very brief intro about the basics of flying planes and helis.

The 9.5S Manual gets much deeper into how the program works, including the Editors.

Shoot - you're right. It is a much reduced version, not really a guide to the software at all. Its what comes up in the various in-game help menus.
Looks like they just removed the old one, rather than updating it to Evolution. That's a loss....
