We are adding Windows Vista to the list of supported operating systems for RealFlight G3.5. Current versions of G3.5 will work with Vista as-is; no further updates are required. The important thing is that you run the RealFlight software, including the Launcher and Installer, with administrator permissions. The system requirements on the RealFlight box state that administrator privileges are required for Windows 2000 and XP. We are extending that to include Vista.
The RealFlight Technical Support team is ready to assist any customers who have problems running G3.5 on Vista, although at this point we are not aware of any major issues. Rest assured that should any major Vista compatibility issues arise, we will address them in a future update.
