G4 Launcher ..corrupted??

Earlier sent a e-mail to Tech Support but don't expect any immediate reply so thought would ask here .

G4 Launcher icon on desktop..when clicked get:

ERROR
KEError 21051. Unknown product code.

Manual doesn't list troubleshooting

Would certainly appreciate any advice as to how to correct this error.

Uninstall G4.

Reboot.

Go to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\ folder and delete the Knifeedge folder.

If you are running Vista, make a NEW administrator level account to run G4.

Make sure that the account name uses ONLY alphabetic characters... no ampersands, exclamations, etc.

Turn off DEP.

Log in under the new administrator level account.

Reinstall G4.

Run it at least once.

Exit G4 and perform the on-line updates.

I thought about thatbut I sure hate to go thru that with all the many free G-3 ad ons and much other downloads from Swap Page

Except for the G4 Launcher everythng is working perfectly .

Incidentally what might be DEP, I can't find that anywhere in the Reall flight G4 Folder?

Hey opjose,

Im using Win XP Pro SP2

For some reason I went to Start; Programs; Real flight and Real Flight G4 Launcher showed up..Clicked that and the actual working Real Fllight Launcher popped up and it works... Only I must go to Start,Programs ,Real Fllight to get it.

I will hold off on the reinstallation for now since I now have a way to get the Launcher .

The solution.......... for me at least:

Start\Programs\Real FlightG4\Real flight Flight G4 Launcher.

Right click Real Flight G4 Launcher and send to desktop

I now have a working G4 Launcher icon on desktop
