Apply Brakes using DN Elevator

Objective is to apply the brakes by slowly applying Down Elevator (Right Stick-Move slowly to Full Forward) - the more down elevator - the more brakes applied.

The reason I chose the elevator to brakes mix is that there are so few switches on the interlink - and I have plans for all of them.

Here is what You Need to do to have the brakes on DN Elevator
Note: Silver/Gray data is not changeable.

Main Gear
- Wheel
- - Brake Servo = Brake Servo
- - Brake Servo Reverse = No
- - Brake Servo Strength = 100%
(Note) None of the remaing fields need to be changed)

Electronics
(1) Right Click on Electronics
(2) Hover over Add
(3) Choose Add Physical Servo
(4) Click on Physical Servo and rename it to Brake Servo

- Brake Servo
- - Input = Rx CH 9 (You can use any channel above CH 8)
- - Servo Speed = .10
- - Type = Analog
- - Servo Sound Volume (%) 0 (You chg this if you want to hear the servo work - the higher the % - the louder the servo)
- - Component Type = Physical Servo
- - Number of connections = 2
- - Current Output = 1.09 (this is based on the elevator stick positon)

Software Radio (If Channel 9 is not listed)
(1) Right Click on Software Radio
(2) Hover over Add
(3) Choose Add Output Channel

- Output Channel 9
(1) Right Click on Output Channel 9
(2) Hover over Add
(3) Choose Add Complex Input Feed

- Output Channel 9
- - Trim (%) = 0
- - Low Rates (%) = 0
- - Expo During Low Rates (%) = 0
- - Expo During Hight Rates (%) = 0
- - Current Value (%)= -109.0

- Low Rates When
- - Activated When = Never
- - Conditional Channel = Input Channel 1 (Channel 1 - Roll)
- - Conditional Channel Value (%) = 0
- - Value 1 (%) = 0
- - Value 2 (%) = 0
- - Condition Satisifed = No

- Expotential When
- - Activated When = Never
- - Conditional Channel = Input Channel 1 (Channel 1 - Roll)
- - Conditional Channel Value (%) = 0
- - Value 1 (%) = 0
- - Value 2 (%) = 0
- - Condition Satisifed = No

- Input is renamed "Brakes - Dn Elev" (left click on INPUT)
- - Input Channel = Input CH 2 (Channel 2 Pitch)
- - Input Channel Value (%) = 0
- - Curve = Graph Points
Input % ..... Output %
- 100.......... - 109
+ 000 ......... - 109
+ 100 ........ + 140
- - Output Dislay (%) = -109.9
- - Logic: Add to Other Feeds

- Input Feed When:
- - Activated When = Always
- - Conditonal Channel = Input Channel 1 (Channel 1 Roll)
- - Conditonal Channel Value = 0
- - Value 1% = 0
- - Value 2% = 0
- -Condition Satisfied = Yes

Note: If you want a little less braking when Elevator is full Down (Stick Full Fwd) - decrease the value of third graph input from +140 to +139 or less. The closer you get to the "0" horizontal axis - the less effective the brakes are.

Special Thanks to jeffpn for his key suggestion.

You might want to change the titled to "How to: " at the beginning.

Otherwise, you got it!
