Thanks for your quick reply. I plan to update my son's computer in the near future and that will solve the problem of old hardware. I changed to the directx9_depreciated beta and it's working again.

A while ago (and I'm not sure when) RF quit working. It had worked fine for months. The error is: Your system does not support DirectX 11 as required by this version. RealFlight will now exit. I have checked and I have DirectX 12 installed. Attached is the dxdiag.exe results. Any help would...
