RF doesn't start, says it needs DirectX 11 but I have DX12 installed...

A while ago (and I'm not sure when) RF quit working. It had worked fine for months. The error is:

Your system does not support DirectX 11 as required by this version. RealFlight will now exit.

I have checked and I have DirectX 12 installed. Attached is the dxdiag.exe results.

Any help would be appreciated!

According to the specs I found for the ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT that's installed in your system, your graphics card only supports DX10 so it would fail for a DX11 or DX12 support test. The system DX12 driver is backwards compatible so the Windows driver would support the DX10 graphics card. But the graphics card would fail to support a DX11 or DX12 application like the current RF EVO DX11. At least that's what I think is correct, but others will chime in on this if I'm wrong.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I plan to update my son's computer in the near future and that will solve the problem of old hardware.

I changed to the directx9_depreciated beta and it's working again.
