No guns, no smoke, no bombs, Tummelisa is a classic from the days when simply seeing a machine flying up in the AIR was thrilling enough.
An elegant Lady if there ever was one, she now has fully rendered struts and landing gear in the Physics Model, in addition to some extra wing components to more faithfully follow the beautiful curves of her wing tips and empennage.
Springy Undercarriage, airfoils, weight, CG adjustment, exhaust, propwash and engine sound all modified to provide the most scale-like flying I could achieve.
A custom torque curve allows her to move with natural grace at the hand of a GENTLEMAN who knows how to treat a Lady.
She will taxi well, relaxed and natural but she never rushes to take-off...ever the lady, she will sputter and stall in dismissal of the heavy-handed fool who “feels her up” with a vertical climb in their first date… but she can loop with a bit of encouragement from a gentleman-pilot who knows how to Waltz, and perhaps even curtsy the move with an aileron roll via some residual, gravity induced airspeed....Going over 50 MPH (100 mph scale speed) is a fleeting joy to be appreciated and savored with purpose, she does not simply give such things away.
No, not this lady. She will NOT perform the vulgarities of endless aerobatics or 3D...
rather in the same way Audry Hepburn would never be seen to "twerk"...
