50% Vindicator USMC Beaufort
Another of my pre-war “silver fleet” Marine Corps color schemes made possible by Brent G and his fabulous original….
For a better appearance in Half-Scale I added some panel line and rivet details along with some decaling to represent a Marine Corps Vindicator flying out of Beaufort North Carolina, Circa 1940…training and anti-sub scouting patrols on the east coast as the loom of war approaches.
Look for my Midway Tribute to Marine Scout/Bombing Squadron 241 version, as well as a few Early War Navy Versions as well
