Fly Fly Hobby 1:6.5 Scale ASK 21 AIR CADETS Electric Motor Glider variant and color scheme, based on the E-Flite UMX ASK-21 model by mwilson914.

This variant is based off of the E-Flite UMX ASK-21 model by mwilson914, which was added on 10-12-2013.
The model was modified to represent the Fly Fly Hobby 1:6.5 Scale ASK 21, AIR CADETS Electric Motor Glider.
It has numerous features, and has been extensively tuned to fly exceptionally well.

The model has a 103.5" (2.689 m) wingspan, and an all up flight weight of 5.496 lb.
The motor represents a nose mounted, Turnigy 540S V-Spec Inrunner w/Impeller, 1100 kv brushlesss electric motor.
The propeller represents an 11 x 7 cam folding type, but is not displayed, since there wasn't one in the original E-Flite UMX ASK-21 model.
The Battery represents the Turnigy nano-tech 3000mAh 25-50C battery.
The speed controller represents the Turnigy dlux 40A ESC with data logging.
The model has functional flaps, but are not displayed, since there weren't any in the original E-Flite UMX ASK-21 model.
(The full scale, real ASK-21 glide didn't have flaps either)
The model has some minor visual issues with the lettering that I applied to the rudder and wings.
This is caused by surface features that were modeled on the rudder surface,
that are partially covering the graphics from the .tga file,
and by Realflight aparently not using the Left wing graphics in the .tga file, but just mirroring the Right Wing Graphics instead.

MODEL FEATURES

The model has separate servos for left and right ailerons and flaps, and uses 8 channels total for control.
The main wing has an Eppler 203 airfoil, which is a 13.64% thickness at 30.7% chord, low Reynolds number, low camber (2.3% at 54.1% chord) airfoil.
Typical airspeed is 34-35 mph (Flaps retracted i.e. Speed mode), with a steady state sink rate of 2-3 ft/sec.

The aileron servos have been set up to provide 50% left /right differential (100% up / 50% down down deflection).
The flap servos have been set up to deflect 50% of the aileron deflection for enhanced roll response.
The ailerons have been mixed to the flaps to deploy in butterfly mode when the flaps are deployed for additional landing speed control.
With full flap deployment, steady state glide air speed should reduce to 25 mph, which is about 1-2 mph above stall speed.
Elevator control has been mixed with flap control to help maintain level flight as flaps are deployed (speed dependent).
Elevator control has been mixed with throttle position to help manage climb rate to reasonable levels at all throttle positions.
Aileron control has been mixed with throttle position to help manage roll caused by motor torque.
The model has three functional inline wheels (Nose, Main, and tail) but only the main wheel is displayed,
which was the only one in the E-Flite UMX ASK-21 model.
The model has several additional cameras.

CONTROLS

(Channel 1) Aileron
(Channel 2) Elevator (Down elevator i.e. right stick forward also applies brakes to the nose and main wheels)
(Channel 3) Throttle
(Channel 4) Rudder
(Channel 5) Dual rates - Aileron, Elevator, and Rudder
(Channel 6) Not Used
(Channel 7) The main wheel can be retracted using the upper right two-position switch, deployed pushed forward, retracted pulled back),
but the wheel doesn't get displayed as being retracted, since the E-Flite UMX ASK-21 model didn't have a retractable wheel.
(Channel 8) The flaps are deployed using the upper left flight mode switch, and deploy as 0 (pushed forward = Speed), 50% (middle), 100% (pulled back = Full Crow).
This channel also releases the aero tow hook 0 (pushed forward = Hook closed), 50% (Hook open), 100% (pulled back = Hook open).
