The sleekest strategic bomber of the cold war, Great Britain’s Avro Vulcan first flew on 30 August 1952, and was operational from 1956 through 1984.

This 25% scale model gives you a massive and graceful delta wing scale flight experience. Larger, heavier, more powerful- its a real joy to fly. Top speed over 250 mph, 244 lbs, 27.5 ft wingspan. With some practice, its possible to touch down at a gentle 49 mph. Recommended approach speed is 70 to 75 mph, with a small amount of throttle. While there is no way to simulate the actual nuclear payloads, Real flight bombs have been added. To arm bombs, turn the top of the rotary dial all the way left. They fall automatically when the bomb bay doors fully open. Additional volleys may be released by quickly toggling the channel 5 switch, or by slightly turning the rotary knob right and then back full left. All other controls are the same as the EA. Slight adjustments to aerodynamics and controls, with the addition of a throttle elevator mix keeps the model flying level at various power settings. Thanks to nemo_UK for an excellent 3D model of this unique aircraft.
