This is BRENTG's terrific Boeing P-12 scaled up to 50% for RF-7.5
A great "between the wars" biplane that holds a special place in my half scale hangar, thought I would share it.
Decent scale-like flight performance with full power verticle stalls and appropriate top speeds. Torque curve and prop pitch/diameter adjusted to noticeably bleed-off RPM's under heavy loads (steep climbs)
and spool-up again during the dives. Also added ailerons to the lower wings to improve the roll rate, sprung the undercarriage and a bunch of other tweaks to get a more realistic flight package out of her...
She's a fun, easy plane to fly....slow and boring by sport-model standards, but just right for us vintage scale geezers!
Cockpit cam on F-5, pans with scroll knob (channel 6) and tilts with 3-position toggle (channel 8)
Guns on Channel 5
Look for my red-trimmed USMC color scheme for this on swaps as well..
