While flying airplanes in the RealFlight RC simulator, I have missed a Cap-231, so I decided to create one.
The 3D model was created in Blender, then exported using "export_3ds2kex.py" script posted by rayvel in the Knife Edge Forum. (Btw. - Thank you very much for the script rayvel.) Exported file was then converted to the kex file using 3ds2kex utility. -Thank you RealFlight team for this.

Airplane was modeled using digital copy of RC Modeler Cap-231 plan as reference with only difference – the engine cowl - which was modeled using real plane photos. Color scheme is based on the real cap 231, which I like. The model does not have modeled servos and control horns. Sorry, but they are only visible in the editor thoroughly, practically never in the flight, so that is why.

The starting point for flight dynamics was Cap-232 from RealFlight.

There is nothing unusual on the plane, the first four channels as usual Ailerons, Elevator, Throttle and Ruder. Fifth channel are rates and seventh channel is smoke.
