Sorry for reposting this YET AGAIN, but it was brought to my attention that the german insignia's were missing from the top of the wings. Even though iI could not see them on my referance sample, it makes sense that they would be there. So...
The Luftwaffe repainted at least two P-51D Mustangs in Dark Green over Yellow undersides. One of the P-51's was recovered by US Troops in May of 1945. This is an relatively accurate reproduction from a picture I found posted on the internet at http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/165/2/0. I produced it for on-line combat to be used by whomever dares to explore the concequences of appearing in combat with it. Few pilots gnome to me will be capeable of enduring it's sustained use.
