CESSNA BIRD DOG, LARGE SCALE.
Tha Cessna Bird Dog, so named by a Cessna employee contest after a type of gun dog. Best known as a F.A.C. aircraft in the Vietnam conflict and also used by many Air.Forces around the world it had a top speed of only 130mph.
The model is a 12’ span and is powered by a Brison flat twin, a well harmonised and pleasant aircraft to fly, just like a large trainer really!
Usual controls with normal rates on ch5, up is normal. Flaps on ch6, wheel brakes on up elev’.
