GWS FW190 EPO version

The EPO version of the GWS 190 is a bit heavier than the EPS version. The basic airframe weighs in at around 16-18 ounces. With motor, battery and other electronics the flying weight would be much heavier than the flying weights listed on the packaging (20-24 ounces). A 480 sized outrunner with atleast a 10x6 prop should pull this plane nicely. The flying weight of the EPO version would be around the 26-34 ounces range. A good park sized plane to fly in winds that would ground lighter models.

The EPS version would be much lighter, probably within the weights listed on the box. A much smaller outrunner could also be used.

This sim model is intended to model the GWS 190 not the real FW190.

Features include:
  • default rudder, elevator, aileron and throttle control
  • full flaps (channel 6 - Knob) mixed with the elevator (10%)
  • optional spinner types: aluminum prop nut spinner, Dubro spinner, or Parkzone spinner
  • motor fan can be removed via color schemes
  • panel lines via the normal map
  • glossiness of each part can be manipulated via color schemes and the specular map

Special thanks to Doug Schluter and Herc40 for their help with testing and feedback on the physics model.
