Modified Harbor Freight P51 for G3.5
The stock Harbor Freight P51 Mustang uses a brushed motor with a 4.43:1 gear ratio and an 8x6 prop. It is very underpowered and tail-heavy.
With a few mods it becomes a beautiful park flyer. A cheap 370 class outrunner and a 3S lipo solves the issues of the stock model. The GWS pico receiver works well with the transmitter that comes with the plane. I haven't noticed any glitches or range issues.
This simulates my modified Harbor Freight P51 very closely with most of its odd slow speed behaviors. With few changes to the physics model, it would also closely simulate the GWS P51 as it is in the same size and weight range.
