MISTER MULLIGAN GOLDEN AGE RACER, LARGE SCALE

Sixth in my series of interwar classic monoplane AVs.

The Howard DGA-6 was a pioneer racing plane, nicknamed, Mister Mulligan. It was the only airplane ever designed for the specific purpose of winning the Bendix Trophy.
It won the 1935 Bendix at an average of 238mph, it was destroyed a year later in a crash.
A Pratt & Whitney 850hp Wasp radial gave it a top speed of 260mph.

The model has a 12’ wingspan and a top speed of 85mph, a nice relaxed flyer to give that “Golden Age of Aviation” feel.

With physics reworked and resized I hope you enjoy flying this iconic aircraft.

Usual controls with flaps on rotary knob and wheel brakes on UP elev’.

Many thanks to Cowboy for the excellent ea.
