My brother loves the P-47. I did this modification up last week to give him a bit more fun factor.

This is an existing Thunderbolt variant. All I have done to it is add 8 guns (dual rates switch) and a bomb drop (3-pos switch).

I spent a lot of time in trial and error to get the guns harmonized, and then to fudge them up a bit for some (hopefully) realism. Likewise the bomb drop does a single from each wing - though there is enough ordinance in reserve to facilitate practice.
