Now w/ _n.tga same as previous CS but now has a _n.tga update now!
I just finished reading Boyingtons biography and thought this would be a cool one to do .....
This CS is widely attributed to Gregory "Pappy" Boyington
of the Black Sheep squadren
but in reality he never flew "lucybelle" in combat with this Paintcsheme!...it was done just once for a photo opp.
the lucybelle graphics were only painted on using water color and some of the upside down rising sun stickers have absoluly no meaning .....other than they were hurredly put on incorrectly for the photoshoot (also all of those red stickers could be mistaken for a japanese meatball ...so he never flew it even with just the stickers)
but here it is anyway...improved higher resolution rising sun victory stickers than thegibson used and a USMC paint scheme vs the original Navy one also cleaned up the stars
