Founded in 1974, the Skymasters Radio Control Club is one of the largest in the country and boasts several nationally recognized modelers and pilots. The flying field is located at the Bald Mountain State Recreation Area in Lake Orion, Michigan. We are chartered as AMA Club #970, a Michigan Non-profit Organization. The Skymasters are a very active club promoting our hobby and taking part in many community events and activities. Our largest flying event of the year is the 18th annual Midwest Regional Float Fly with over one hundred pilots participating.

This is my first attempt at creating a photofField. The west end of the runway and surrounding landscape is at a lower elevation and provided a challenge to properly adjust the horizon.. Any tweaks and constructive criticisms are welcome. Many of our club members are still using G3.5 and therefore need someone to convert the field to be compatible with G3.5. Revised: 9-01-2008
