The SST (Sloper Steve Tribute wing) was named to honor Sloper Steve's pioneering work in ultralight aerobatic wings many years ago. This type of wing boasts great light wind performance, surprisingly good wind penetration for a light wing, outstanding aerobatic capabilities and of course multi-flipping fun!
The model has very realistic flying characteristics and is a great way to learn how to do some cool new aerobatic tricks.
Design details, links to kits, and more information of the 48" epp SST and the mini SST are available on rcgroups in the slope forum.
Wingspan: 48"
All up Weight: weight: 5.28 oz.
Optimal wind conditions: 5 to 10 mph.
3D model by AlternativeRC (RightCoastRC on RCGroups)
Physics by AlternativeRC, Motorhead (RCGroups), and Leadfeather (RCGroups).
NOTE: This model flies best at the Sierra Nevada Cliff with wind speed set at 5 mph.
FINAL NOTE: this model is tested as compatible with Realflight versions 6.5 and 7.5, and may be compatible with versions dating back to 4.5, but the physics will not be the same, so it WILL fly differently.
