STOLP STARLET LARGE SCALE
An interesting design derived from the Stolp biplane range, with an approx’ 50% scale of around 13’ the model has a multilayered engine sound to try and approximate the full size aircrafts distinctive audible signature that adds to its appeal. The 108 hp Lycoming has short stacks, which produce a most pleasing, head-turning, rumbling/crackling growl in the pattern and on fly-bys.
The original aircraft had a sparkling performance with 180mph top speed in level flight and could reach 230 mph in a dive.
Usual controls with display smoke on ch 7 and wheel brakes on up elev’.
Hope you enjoy my version of this plane.
Many thanks to Nizz for the great EA.
