North American Aviation P-51D Mustang.

Among one of the most famous fighters of World War II, the P-51 Mustang has its roots in both Britain and the USA. Originally overlooked by the USAAF, the P-51 did not see action with American forces until March 1943. Once its full potential had been developed, the USA realized that this aircraft had been ignored for far too long a time. With the forging of the American airframe with the British Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, it would be unmatched by any other piston aircraft of World War II.

This is a re-issue of Doug “DHK79” Kaye's Top Flite Gold Edition P-51D which was originally created for RF 4.5. The flight physics have been completely redone along with various “under the hood” changes.

Flight controls include throttle, rudder, elevator, ailerons, landing flaps, and retracts.

Fly with the channel 5 rate switch in the “High” position.

Retracts on channel 7. Flaps on channel 6.

Selection of the visible engine may be made in the editor, by changing the "engine to show" variable.

This is a very nice flying model Mustang. Easy landings with the flaps. Sure to appeal to the WW II war bird enthusiasts.
