Did a lot of flight adjustments ... flies decently.
Added some makeshift air brakes by raising the ailerons for landing. This seems to slow the plane and raise the nose a little.
Watch out though, when engaged this tends to increase the response of the ailerons dramatically. Good for landing speeds, but disastrous at higher speeds.
Automatic gear operation at 125 MPH
3 pos. sw. - Full Back = off
middle = half air (speed) brakes
forward = full speed brakes and landing wheel brakes on.
dual rate sw. - up = high rates
down = low rates and afterburner arming.
rotary = elevator trim - cw=down
Retract sw. Forward = gear down
back = automatic
wheel brakes on down elevator
Afterburner is engaged with dual rate sw. down and throttle at 70% +
