3ds max 2012 windows 8.1 compatability

I know that not many designers are still active here but does anyone have 3ds max 2012 running on a windows 8.1 machine. Autodesk does not list 8.1 as a supported OS but that doesnt mean it doesnt work. Obviously I'm considering upgrading to 8.1 from 7 and I want to be able to model with no ill effects. Thanks in advance for your response.

3ds Max 2012 x86 (32bits) release "14.0 Product Update 12 student" running fine here on Windows 8.1. Can model, export to RF, etc.
