Has anyone seen this activation error?

KEERror 75912: Unexpected activation result: -1073741819.
The application will exit now.

I'm trying to get this working in Windows 11 ARM on a M1 Max MacBook Pro. I have 9.5 working and I know that 9.5s works as well. Anyone get it to work on a similar platform?

I have the same issue (KEError 75912: Unexpected activation result: -1073741819).
I'm running Windows 11 ARM in Parallel 18 on M1 MacBook Pro.

I tried different compatibility settings and X86 emulation settings for RealFlight64.exe, RealFlightHelper_Admin64.exe, and RealFlightHelper64.exe, but nothing helped...

So recent patch for the game helped with activation error, now RealFlight Evolution fails to start silently (on M1 MacBook Pro, Parallels 18, Windows 11 ARM).

In Windows Log is following error:

Hi people. I think I've cracked it and got evolution to work despite Horizon Hobby not giving a crap.

I'm running a MacBook Pro with Parallels and Windows 10. Previously I was getting the KEError 75912 message but no more.

Last night I checked on Windows update and found I was running Feature Update 21H2 which was also showing errors. I ran the trouble shooting for Windows updates and it fixed the errors. I was then able to update Windows to Feature Update 22H2 (last night Windows refused to connect to the server but worked this morning).

With the latest Feature Update (22H2) everything appears to be working.

Let me know if this works for anyone else. Good luck.

Are you running the latest windows 11 feature update?

It's not that nobody cares, it's that RealFlight is a Windows application for PCs. Nobody on our end can assist you because Macs are unsupported and none of us has one.

If you figure out a way to make it work in that environment, by all means please do post about it here for the benefit of others! We'd like to hear about it.

I had to join the Windows Insider program to get Windows 11 Pro to update to 22H2.

That solved the Knife Edge Error 75912 on v10.00.026.

Lessons actually work now, but it's still impossible to change to anything other than Eli Field.

A word of warning: Your insider version of W11 will expire someday. When it does, the only fix will be to do a clean install of Windows. I made that mistake with Windows10. And I got a warning message something like "your insider version will expire on [a date that occurred 2 months ago.]" Not 2 months from NOW, 2 months AGO. And I was instantly locked out of just about every administrative function you can imagine. No updates, no regedit, no install of the current version of W10 over top of the expired one keeping configuration & installed programs. The only solution was to do a clean install, and then reinstall all my programs, etc. The only saving grace was that the clean install created a Windows.old directory that contained my previous user directory, so I didn't lose any of my personal information, documents, downloads, etc. But I had to manually copy the information I needed into the new user directory and reinstall all my 3rd party programs. It was a ROYAL PITA! FYI, I've built, repaired, disinfected, or reconditioned literally thousands of PC's in 30+ years. And I couldn't find a way to get around it.

Is anyone using Proton and experiencing "KEERror 75912: Unexpected activation result" too?

Are there any work arounds?

No work arounds. Realflight is not compatible with Linux, and doesn't work on Steamdecks. Use Windows to run Realflight.
