In the real world we can adjust the bank angle limits when in SAFE. Does anyone know whether there is a way to steepen banks in SAFE Beginner? Thanks!!
We as customers can't tune those settings individually. The way the virtual Spektrum Flight Controller is designed, you have to select from a pre-programmed "Parameter Set" that will determine the little details such as bank angle limits. It appears that the Parameter Sets are designed to match each of the Horizon BNF planes supplied in RF. I did a writeup a while back posted here that explains how you can add the Spektrum Flight Controller and SAFE (and Panic Mode if you want it) to any plane in RF. That writeup has even more discussion about Parameter Sets.
I hope that a future version of RF allows us to tune the settings on the Spektrum Flight Controller in much more detail, just like we can tune the settings on the Spektrum Smart receivers (AR630, AR631, AR637T, and others) on the real models. It would be wonderful to be able to experiment with different receiver settings using the sim version of the planes.
