I just purchased a used RF9 kit from a guy and as I try to install it I ran into problems because the registration is Under is name! It must be legal to do this transaction, isn't it?

I am absolutely sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think that the original owner has to deregister the product so that the new owner can register.
