Yep, nobody is going to make a aircraft that you can get from Knife Edge.... The one in Exp pack 3 is a good model too.

A cessna 310 would be a fun plane to fly but I don't want to buy Exp pack #3 just to get it.
 
It looks like you are going to have to, if you want the C310. Why would a designer spend a hundred hours or more to give you a free plane that you can buy for $30+/-? (or less than 1 hours worth of their time)

It is a good plane representation. I have that Top Flight model and love the way it flies in the sim.
 
The Beech Baron 58 looks a little like the cessna 310.

There was a time when Beech Aircraft would have been appalled at that statement, just appalled! ;)
