Compatibility problems

Hi,

I have allways thaught when I go for multiplayer session I am flying together with any version of RealFlight. But I recently was prooved wrong when my father and I was looking forward to a nice evening at the flying site, flying together within the local network. He has G4 and I have G3.5.
Isn't there any way to make these two versions compatible in multiplayer mode? Or is it settings I or my father have to change?

G3 works with G3 only. G3.5 works with G3.5 only. G4 works with G4 only. G4.5 works with G4.5 only. No way around it.
