can I use my own controller with one of those adapter cables. Mine has a bit of a differant feel, and want to get used to it.

You can connect many different radios to the Interlink with the provided cables.

just use the TX connection for the Interlink. Works every time. Make sure your real remote has the Trims centered for one of the models (If it is computerized) as it doesn't center them for you, like everyone asks sometimes. don't be that person.
