Crash issue/Start up issue/texture issue.......sorta

I have read through some of the other issues others are having and tried some of the solutions to no avail. RF9.5s works perfect and have never had a problem with it from day one. Sometimes I get a message from AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition saying that a Driver has Timed out, sometimes it loads normally to startup window and i click on Fly and it stops responding, other times it allows me to fly for a hour or so and the just crashes to desktop. I played around with graphics settings in AMD adrenalin and thought I had fixed it but some of the aircraft were missing landing gear, rotors, props, no audio.

Sometimes i can uninstall through steam, restart, and reinstall and it will work as long as i dont try to change aircraft, airports, or close the simulator to play another day.

Any help would be appreciated, because I am stumped lol.

I don't know a whole lot about this stuff, but I do use Adrenalin Edition with my AMD Ryzen 5 processor. I have had some similar issues with my system getting driver timeouts when playing Real Flight where the screen goes black. But AMD seemed to fix this in a later update with the software. My guess is that it has something to do with your installed Drivers. You could try updating or changing them on AMD website where you can manually select your processor to get a list of Drivers. That may fix the Driver timeout issue but for the other things you mentioned I don't really know if the driver thing is the problem.

Hey Fixxxer, I am having the exact same issues with my AMD Ryzen 7 5700, Radeon RX 6600 XT. Please let us know if you find out what's going on.

Tried a bunch of different settings last night and nothing. Tried installing on my regular HDD instead of my M.2 and no change. Drivers on GPU are all most current ones from AMD. Tried doing a factory reset on GPU and re-installing drivers. Its makes me think its something in the software because RF9.5S functions perfect.
I did have some success uninstalling from Steam and Re-installing, it would crash to desktop a few times but sometimes i would be able to fly for a little while then would randomly crash and not start back up. Even tried turning off AMD Error thing, I only got the "An unexpected error occurred would you like to send to Horizion hobby" or something of that nature.
What is odd to me is AMD Adrenalin is showing I have flown for 302 hours this week and like 101 total hours but to be perfectly honest I may have 2 hours total time of messing with it since it released.

This has been the normal here lately, just open the game and "Not Responding"

Well I just Turned on Radeon Chill and set it to a minimum of 75 FPS and a Max of 140, Turned off Surface Format Optimization and i was actually able to load RF: Evo and fly. I closed RF: Evo gonna give it a min and try to open it again to see if it loads. It does not seem like it would matter but with Chill turned off i am seeing 500-700 FPS, just does not seem like that would make a difference though. Gonna keep poking around.

@theFixxer, maybe try uninstalling the Adrenalin software and installing just the latest video card driver only.

have not tried uninstalling adrenaline but i would prefer to keep it as its handling my gpu settings i can just shut it down completely and no change. i tried going back a few drivers and still same errors and crashes. luckily i have RF 9.5s to keep my flight itch scratched

lol this is weird i got curious to if it would even run RF Evo so i installed steam on my surface pro 4 and installed Evo. Well what do you know so far it seems to be running just fine on my surface pro 4, it is running a Core i7-u CPU @ 2.20 GHz, Iris Graphics 540 Direct X Driver Version 24.20.100.6299
Kinda impressed it is even running it to be honest but it seems to be working just fine and seems to be running at 390-420 Graphics Frames/sec. Dont touch the aluminum body on the back of it though, i may see about making a grilled cheese on it here in a few mins.
