When I bought this, I read that the stick gimbals are supposed to be good and from a real controller. I was expecting for $100, for a USB radio that didn't have any electronics like a normal radio has, to be pretty good as they could focus on the sticks and such. If you adjust tension to be looser than default though, they do loosen up, but they don't return to center very well and gets worse as you adjust them looser. I have a few different transmitters (FrSky X-Lite Pro, FrSky X20S, FrSky Twin X-Lite S, etc) and the stick tension on them can be adjusted so that they are looser without affecting return to center precision.

On a good note though... the ability to change the left stick to centered for throttle and back to not centered with a mechanical switch was an awesome idea.
