I ran intothis code installing my old G2 on my new laptop. After unistalling and reinstalling the program several times, I was ready to pull my hair out. So i gave up and moved on to loading other programs. I had issues loading my photo editing software so I called Nikon to get advise on how to fix the isse. Their tech gave me these directions to solve the issue and it worked great, so I tried it on Realflight and it worked as well. The fix was easy.
1) go to your desktop and RIGHT click the Realflight icon.
2) left click "Troubleshoot Compatiblity" and follow the directions
3) Be sure to go back to the Troubleshoot Compatiblity screen and save the settings after the the program starts running.
I hope this helps sombody along the way.
