Event set up question

On the G2 add on #3 I'm able to hover and control the defult raptor heli rather good for a novice. When I switch to the spot landing event to sharpen my skills I find that the heli (still looks like the raptor on add on #3) is a lot harder to hover and control. Is the heli you are flying on the spot landing the same set-up that I'm flying as the default heli on add on #3 for the raptor?

The aircraft you select for events are the same aircraft used in RealFlight during any other time.
