IF you have "hole" listed as a material for any parts, they will not be transfered, as they are a hole....
I have in some projects had trouble with parts that were made using the mirror function.
looking good so far, keep up the good work.

The biggest problem like that is due to naming. If you fully name all of your parts in Wings and then import a 3DS file into Max, many of the parts will not transfer. This is because the naming limit on a 3DS file is eight characters and if you added the ~CS_ prefix, you just used half of them. So if you have two engines named ~CS_ENGINE1 and ~CS_ENGINE2 (both valid names) and you export to Max, it will see a duplicate of ~CS_ENGI and will only import one of them.

Make sure you do not have any of the ~CS_ named objects hidden at the time you export, as wings only exports visible objects.
