Flight challenges: change the zoom settings?

Is there any way at all to change the Zoom level in the challenges that use a fixed location? I've been flying RF through 6.5, 7, and 7.5, then upgraded to 9 with the Spetrum Interlink when the PC stopped recognizing my old Futaba Interlink.

I'd largely ignored the challenges before -because- the view was set to something I wasn't comfortable with, but have only recently started looking for a solution. Dropping to console and setting it manually with camera_zoom commands doesn't seem to be an option - since you (at least I) can't ~ out in challenge mode.

I've searched the forums, but no love.

Any suggestions? Maybe a config file that would let me set the visuals to something usable?

I don't know if this works I haven't tried it but you can bind console commands in the startup.rfscript file located in the Documents\RealFlight 9\Scripts folder. I add binds for the lockposition and lockorientation commands for taking pictures in RealFlight so maybe you can bind zoom commands in it and they will work in the challenges.
