That's how I learned..

I didn't have the luxury of an instructor when I started RC... I built my first kit (not an ARF), and learned to fly it without any help from another RC guy. All while I was about 10.

I think I turned out alright ;)

BTW.....We get Birthdays on Friday the 13th again in 2009, 2015, 2020, and 2026.
