frustrated with challenge speeds too fast

Problem controlling the quadcoptetX drone in challenge mode, it ascends and turns too quickly. Can I adjust the speed, are other drones slower and if so the trials mode won't let me change to another drone. thanks for your replies

Challenges are meant to be hard to complete. You are also required to use the model provided. You could try changing the rates switch, channel 5 or the left switch on the top not the 3 position switch on the side. Low rates is the down position and reduces the amount of input being transmitted to the model. Practice and you will eventually get it.

thanks csglii75. I had found that the 3 position switch did nothing, now the ch 5 switch does lower speeds for me. I had chosen the quadcopterX anyway to practice with as it looks similar to a Phantom3 that will replace my newbie syma X5.
