As a newbie... in my opinion, it does not matter the heli that you fly so much as that you learn to fly a heli first.
I saw some video of an MD350... there are some small electric helis on the swaps pages, but they are a bit twitchy for you right now.... stay with a larger heli on the sim until you get hoovering down... tail in, nose in, left and right orientations. Learn to take off and land... then move to the smaller helis... JUST FLY FIRST
