Interlink controller MD2

I have just order Realflight G4 with Interlink controller MD2.
Being totally new to this I am not sure what I will be getting and wonder if I have made a misatake after I revisited the site and saw that there is an MD1 interlink controller.
MD2 is for the Americas and MD1 is euopre and elsewhere.
I have a 6 channel futaba for use in the UK. Do I need to get anything else before I will be able to enjoy the product I have ordered (besides a suitable computer that I have).
Have I ordered software and hardware? or just software?

You ordered the software and Interlink, which I guess is what you're calling hardware. There are no laws that say that Americans fly mode 2 and the rest of the world use mode 1. It's your preference. Of course, it may be difficult for you to find radios that are mode 2 where you are, I don't know. RF does come with cables you'll need to connect your Futaba to the Interlink, and use that instead, if you prefer. I have seen threads around here that explain how to convert the interlink from one mode to another. Search around for them. Good luck in your new hobby!
