Interlink controller not conncted

I keep getting the message that the controller is not connected.
I have tried two different USB ports. One on the front and one on the back.
The device manager says it is not a recognized device.
The signal strength bars on the front of the controller are on. I have power.
Where do I get the driver for the controller?
 
Check your cord for an intermittent connection. If it's an Elite they've been known for this. I replaced mine.

Both my Elite and DX show up in Win 10 under devices with the names:

Interlink Elite
InterlinkDX

Another thing to try is deleting the "Unknown Device" and letting Windows detect it again.
 
Did you have your Interlink DX plugged in while you installed RF9? If not, maybe uninstall and try installing it again making sure your Interlink DX is plugged in and make sure you allow it to install directX. Otherwise contact rf technical support.
 
remove controller

Hi.
After exiting the Laucher/Game, the controller light still ON.
How to remove the USB controller in a safe way like a thumb drive from computer.
