I recently up graded my computer and bought the new G-4.5 version of REAL FLIGHT along with all the expansions packs. I am using the Windows Vista 64 bit OS and had ZERO problems with the install. I also downloaded the up-dated add-on packages, again with no problems (waiting for #5!).
Coming version G-2, the difference was,well, FANTASTIC! I'm not knocking G-2 since that was the one I learned to fly my helos on, but comparing G-2 to G4.5 is like comparing a 50's vintage black & white TV to a modern HD unit.
At first, I missed the music from G-2, but now I like not having it. The ability to switch between difficulty levels is a nice touch, especially for new pilots. I do have a couple of suggestions for you:
1. G-4.5 added a lot for the helicopter pilot over G-2, but I would like to see more scale helos (with multiblade heads), more gassers and a turbine or two.
2. A flight log feature would be nice.
Other than those two suggestions, I think you guys have really hit a home run with G-4.5.
