Licensing / installation question

I upgrade or rebuild my high-end computer frequently. (6 mos - year).

I understand RF 6 has an activation scheme built in. How will this affect my moving to a new computer once in a while?

As long as you use exactly the same information each time, you are fine.

I'm not clear on what you are saying "same information".

It will likely be a completely different motherboard, maybe different video card, who knows.

Is the activation scheme tied to a hardware signature, like some programs?

Or are you saying I just enter my exact same name and key on the new computer and it will work?

Just use the same name, address, e-mail address, Interlink code, and RF registration numbers... You'll have no problems.

Actual hardware is unimportant.

IMHO this is well handled in the sim.

I have three machines that have the same installation of RF6.

My "Game" computer, a laptop, and a system attached to a large flat screen TV.

I can unplug the Interlink from one machine and move it to another, then fly, w/o problems.

And Hobbico doesn't have to worry about piracy as much.
