i am new to all this. will this application run on a mac?

Yes it works just fine

You will have to use an intelmac running boot camp. Install a windows os. I have windows vista and it runs great.

An intel mac is any mac that you go to the apple store and get. boot camp comes with it. it will be running os 10 though. then go and get yourself ethier windows XP or vista and run that in boot camp and it will run fine.
