Making a new default takeoff site

How do I position my chopper for take off somewhere different from the default sites at each airfield?

For example, I want to have a non-float chopper take off from the hill above the little dock at the Alpine Lake.

Also, is it possible to make the takeoff area at the other end of the lake? If I open "edit airfield" the only part ddisplayed is the small area around the default sites.

There is a heli spawn listed in that airfield editor. Look around for it, you should find it. You can move it whereever you want.

Moreover, you can add multiple spawn locations after doing what jeff suggested then use the X key while flying at your airport to hop between locations. That way you could start at the other end of the lake as you were asking about.
