The "yellow" shoestring that is included in RF is the early 1949 configuration, but the current EF-1 racer is modeled on the heavily modified version of the original that was done by Ray Cote, Ken Stockbarger and Paul White. The real airplane completely DOMINATED Reno Formula One racing for over a decade. The real airplane is in the San Diego Air and Space museum in Balboa Park. The variant that you made is really nice but is not what is needed. But seriously, thanks a LOT for trying. It great guys like you that help keep our hobby going.
